Alan Start, the publican is a hell of a nice bloke. Absolutely everybody is welcome at the Einasleigh hotel. Rain, hail or shine. Especially when the annual races and rodeo weekend is on. That is a truly tremendous weekend. The Einasleigh hotel is your typical country pub. Full of interesting pictures and stories from the local people. If you're there for the races/rodeo weekend, don't miss the "duck race". Held down at the river. Everybody here at Einasleigh has a wonderful attitude and are very friendly. You can just pull up a stool at the bar, have yourself a nice cold beer and a quiet yarn with the locals. Or if you've got the family in tow, you can grab a table out on the front veranda of the pub. Usually, on the Saturday night of the races/rodeo weekend, there is a duo or band playing at the pub as well as the usual goings on at the races. So entertainment isn't too far away.

Jump on the frog and toad and head to Einasleigh for a visit. Make sure that you have a swim in the Einasleigh Gorge when you're there. You'd be mad if you didn't. Einasleigh is a lovely little place. It's definitely worth a visit.

Small country pub that relies heavily on tourist trade. As with all small country pubs, there is a great atmosphere and quirky decor. Obviously "regulars" and "locals" feel at home here, and "drop ins" are simply dollars in the till and not really someone you need to interact with beyond courteous service. Not that this is a criticism - we should all support small town business when travelling.
